Our mission is simple: share the joy of reading, imagination, and encouragement with children who may be facing difficult circumstances.

For every copy of Banana the Silkie Chicken purchased through FIV20.com, we donate a matching book to a participating organization serving children in Southern Arizona. This includes books purchased individually or as part of our book bundle.

Meet Banana

Inspired by our real-life Silkie chicken and his original collection of fifteen stickers, Banana the Silkie Chicken follows one fluffy little adventurer on a journey through fifteen magical worlds.

When Banana's golden feather breaks into fifteen sparkling pieces, he sets off to find them. Along the way, he discovers that courage isn't always about being fearless. Sometimes, it's about trying again, taking an unexpected path, or finding the confidence to take one more step.

Through colorful illustrations and meaningful adventures, Banana's story encourages young readers to believe in themselves, embrace new experiences, and discover the strength they already have within them.

Want to make a difference without purchasing a personal copy?

Our Donate a Book option allows you to purchase a book specifically for donation. Your sponsored copy will be delivered directly to one of our participating organizations for a child to enjoy.

Donation-only purchases do not include a personal copy and will not be shipped to the purchaser.

Where the Books Go

Our program focuses on reaching children and families throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona, particularly those experiencing difficult or uncertain circumstances.

Each organization serves our community in its own meaningful way, helping children and families access support, essential resources, and opportunities for a brighter future.

As our program grows, we hope to expand our partnerships and reach even more children.

A Personal Touch: Donor Bookplates

We believe every act of kindness deserves to be recognized, but we also understand that some people prefer to give quietly.

When purchasing a book for donation, you may choose to have your name or family name included on a special donor bookplate inside the donated book.

You can also choose to remain anonymous.

Either way, your generosity helps place a new story into a child's hands.
