Buy a Book • Give a Book

A Little Chicken. A Big Adventure. A Chance to Give Back.

One Book for You. One Book for a Child.
Buy a Book • Give a Book is a community giving initiative created by FIV20 Vilified Apparel LLC, inspired by our children's book, Banana the Silkie Chicken. Our mission is to share the joy of reading, imagination, and encouragement with children facing difficult circumstances.
For every copy of Banana the Silkie Chicken purchased through FIV20.com, we donate a matching book to a participating organization serving children in Southern Arizona. This includes books purchased individually or as part of our book bundle.

Meet Banana

Inspired by our real-life Silkie chicken and his original collection of fifteen stickers, Banana the Silkie Chicken follows one fluffy little adventurer through fifteen magical worlds.
When Banana's golden feather breaks into fifteen sparkling pieces, he sets out to find them. Along the way, he discovers courage, kindness, and the confidence to keep going, even when the path ahead is uncertain.
It's a story about taking that first step, trying again, and discovering the strength within yourself.

Three Ways to Give

1. Purchase the Book
Bring Banana's adventure home! Every copy purchased through FIV20.com includes a matching book donation to a participating organization.
2. Purchase the Book Bundle
Enjoy a hardcover copy of Banana the Silkie Chicken, the complete 15-piece sticker collection, and a limited-edition magnetic bookmark. Every bundle purchased also provides a matching book donation.
3. Donate a Book
Want to give without receiving a personal copy? Our donation-only option allows you to sponsor a book that will be delivered directly to a participating organization for a child to enjoy.
Donation-only purchases do not include a personal copy and will not be shipped to the purchaser.

Where the Books Go

Our program supports children and families throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona, including those served by domestic violence shelters, foster care support programs, and other community organizations.
We're grateful to be building relationships with:

  • Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse

  • More Than a Bed

  • Southern Arizona Book Heroes
As our program grows, we hope to welcome additional community partners and reach even more children.

Donor Bookplates

When sponsoring a book through our donation-only option, you may choose to include your name or family name on a special donor bookplate inside the donated book. Anonymous donations are also welcome.

Why It Matters

Sometimes, a book is more than just a story. It can offer comfort, imagination, encouragement, or a moment of happiness when it's needed most.
Through Banana's adventures, we hope to remind children that even the smallest among us can be brave, overcome challenges, and accomplish extraordinary things.
One Book. One Child. One More Reason to Believe in the Power of a Story.
Thank you for helping us share Banana's adventures with children throughout our community.
